The Drive to War Against Russia and China
20 November 2016 (2:00pm-5:00pm)
Marchmont Centre, 62 Marchmont St, London, WC1N 1AB

As the imperialist crisis deepens and austerity bites ever harder, economic forecasters are predicting worse storms to come in 2016. Meanwhile, the drive towards a catastrophic world war is growing inexorably stronger.
Today, the US and British imperialists in particular are ratcheting up tensions against both Russia and China. The wars in Ukraine and Syria, as well as provocations in the South China Sea and war games on the Korean peninsula all have the potential to break out into a direct confrontation between Nato and Russia and/or China at any time.
Come and discuss why the imperialists seem so determined to incite a global bloodbath, whose side we should be on if it breaks out and what role British workers can play in preventing it from happening.
Presentation by CPGB-ML member Joti Brar to the Stalin Society, followed by discussion. All welcome.
